simple saturday links 12/12/2009
- dumb little man: focus on what you control. let go of what you don’t – Accepting the fact that you cannot control a lot of what goes on in your life and therefore should not stress about it is a huge step in simplifying your life.
- derek sivers: there’s no speed limit. (the lessons that changed my life.) – Really interesting article about what you can accomplish if you don’t let the speed of other’s progress hold you back. Really inspirational.
- i will teach you to be rich: how an MIT postdoc writes 3 books, a PhD defense, and 6+ peer-reviewed papers — and finishes by 5:30pm – I love reading about how other people structure their days or manage their time. This guy, as you can tell from the title, is a total champ at being a productive individual.
I save articles and blog posts that have spoken to me in some way in Evernote. Every Saturday I will provide a couple of these links with a short blurb as to why I saved them. Hopefully this will provide some new and interesting reading that you may not find otherwise. Feel free to point me toward any articles that you think I might enjoy as well.
