  • zen habits: 10 essential rules for slowing down and enjoying life more– I’m sure everybody is familiar with Zen Habits, Leo needs no introduction for me.  This is a great article full of tips for living a more mindful life.  Many of the items on this list will be expounded upon by myself at this website as well.  The virtues of disconnecting, focusing on people, and eating slower are just a few of the key principles to slowing down your life.
  • ross training: another vote for simplicity–This is a great article extolling the virtues of simple workouts.  Have you ever sprinted up a hill?  Tough, right?  Why do we tend to get so bogged down with the details of physical fitness, the complexity of advanced workouts, when all you really need is a pair of shoes and a hill to kick your butt.  Of course, there is always a time and place for adding complexity.  More often than not, though, the simpler workout is just as effective, if not more, than a complex one.

I save articles and blog posts that have spoken to me in some way in Evernote.  Every Saturday I will provide a couple of these links with a short blurb as to why I saved them.  Hopefully this will provide some new and interesting reading that you may not find otherwise. Feel free to point me toward any articles that you think I might enjoy as well.
